Your roof’s solar panels convert sunlight into clean, environmentally-friendly direct current (DC) power.
The inverter converts the DC power into usable alternating current (AC) electricity.
This electricity is then transferred to an electrical switchboard, installed with bi-directional metering.
When your solar energy system generates more energy than your household uses, the excess electricity is released into the supply authority power grid, which then spins your meter backwards and adds credit to your electricity bill.
During peak periods and at night, electricity is imported from the supply authority power grid.
Why Solar Energy?
Making the change to solar power will save you money on your energy bills and helps our environment by reducing air and water pollution.
